The line I walk some more

My favorite part of the beach -

Neither splashing in the sea like a water child,
Nor bathing in the sun for hours on the shore.
But where the wet froth kisses the golden sand,
That’s the line I walk some more.
Where the wave is tamed into placid foam,
Leaving behind it’s thunderous roar.
Where the gentle water circles my long skirt,
That’s the line I walk some more.
Where the sea hurries inwards,
wiping artworks etched on the sandy floor.
Offering a clean slate for my new foot prints,
That’s the line I walk some more.
Where the sea shells tumble and toss,
Tiny souvenirs from the sea, brought ashore.
Where the white curtain ushers them to rest
That’s the line I walk some more.
